i think i may have made a mistake

See, I say "I think," because I usually don't make mistakes.  Prolly, this won't end up being a mistake but I'd rather be safe than sorry, you know.

Here's what I did.  I agreed to go to the midnight showing of New Moon tomorrow night.  Friday morning, actually.  A month ago, this wouldn't have been a big deal.  A month ago, I could stay up till way later than midnight and not worry about it.  A month ago, I wasn't going to bed at 11ish every night.  Now, if I'm not in bed by 11:30, my hearts starts beating really fast.  Now, if I'm not in bed by 11:30, I start feeling guilty.  Don't ask me to explain it, cause I can't.  It just is.

Don't misunderstand.  I want to see New Moon.  In fact, I am very excited about seeing it.  I really loved the books and will prolly re-read them someday.  I think vampires are really, really cool.  Seriously.  Refrain from judging me here, okay?  Thanks.  Also, I think it will be fun to go see it with this big bunch of girls, not the least of which is MPB's Mama

I thought about offering my ticket to someone else, but I figure if I don't go at midnight with these girls, I won't go at all.  Funandone certainly won't go see it with me.  I don't think I have any other friends who have read the books, so I can't count on anyone else to go at an earlier time on a later date.  KD saw the first one, Twilight, with me and she has since left the country.  So she's prolly out, huh?  I think the Beej would prolly watch it with me, but I don't think I can talk her into driving over here just for a movie.  In fact, she wouldn't go see a movie with me the last time we were together, so I'm guessing no on this one, too.

Also, Funandone says since I committed myself to the ticket and I have to pay the 8 bucks or whatever, I have to go.  He thinks I should just take several Coca-Cola's in my purse to help keep me awake.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Wish I could go with you...here I am just south of Canada and it may be a little too early to hang the "I love vampire books" sign out to attract potential friends. Have fun and keep the tweens quiet :)

ok - i'm marking this MOSTLY RIDICULOUS as soon as i get this posted!!!!!!!!

you KNOW you can't wait to go. i'm taking a big ole red bull in my purse to help keep me awake 'cause i've got to decorate cakes as soon as i get home, then go to the movie, then get up friday morning and decorate more cakes before going to the eye doctor at 9:00.

after that, i'll go get mpb and we'll head to handworks before going back and POSSIBLY watching the blind side. then heading to oxford to spend the night.

and you can rest assured of this: I. WILL. SLEEP.

possibly all the way!

but if you have to back out, i understand and i won't make you pay me - we may be able to "market" it and sell it.....

but i 'sho would miss you!!!!!

you, Ashley, are the reason I read those books in the first place so I think you should come down here and go to the movie with me. or maybe I should fly up there. yeah, that's what I wanna do.

and don't worry, Suz. I'll be there. with caffeine.

um ok - so YOU and ASHLEY are the reasons I read the books. so i think it's appropriate to say that BOTH OF YOU ought to have your tails up at all hours of the night watching NEW MOON with me!

and if you can help out by decorating those 6 cakes between now and tomorrow morning, that would be great!

k? thanks!
